The Autonomy Managed Package is comprised of all the server, network, and storage systems needed for the base implementation
of an Autonomy system that supports unlimited scalability and high availability. It is completely redundant with no single point
of failure. It supports the addition of servers and storage for scalability of both query load and document load.
The typical customer will employ one Autonomy Managed environment per media type. This allows media types to be
searched and scaled independently which prevents high-volume, yet lower value, media types from eclipsing lower
volume, yet higher value media types.
Base System
Our base system is comprised of 19 blade systems, 16 of which support fully redundant and scalable search, with 3 additional
servers for scalable categorization and alerting.
